VII.7.21/22
According to Mau two pilasters supported an aedicula in
which an eagle was seen.
This indicated that the shrine was dedicated to Jupiter.
Above the altar was a stucco relief representing a sacrifice.
Fiorelli described it as Ara Iovis
with a Genius sacrificing, with two Lares and underneath a table and serpents.
