According to Warscher, the walls of houses I.3.25 and 24 merited a special study since they represented examples of almost every kind of masonry known in Pompeii from the earliest to the latest.

She also thought the various types of window also deserved attention.

In the centre of the photo, the north wall of the atrium can be seen through the doorway of the room.
