According to Della Corte, he thought the unknown owner or potter of this pottery, must have been named Nicanor. This was due to the electoral recommendation, CIL IV 7570, painted in red near to the entrance of the atrium. Two other electoral recommendations, painted in black, were also found nearby, these were
