III.2.1 Pompeii. March 2009. East portico. Marble base of column. When excavated this was found upside down against the wall of the east ambulatory. The base, reportedly for an honorary statue, is inscribed “TR MIL IIII DUOVIR QUATER”. See Della Corte, M., 1965. Case ed Abitanti di Pompei. Napoli: Fausto Fiorentino. (p.346).

When excavated this was found upside down against the wall of the east ambulatory.
