III.2.2 Pompeii. May 2005. Entrance doorway, partly excavated.

According to Della Corte, two of the many writings found to the left of the entrance doorway, were

Trebi  et  Soteriche, vigilate    [CIL IV 7632]

Trebius  nec  sine  (Soterico?)    [CIL IV 7627]

He thought these proved that Sotericus was a near neighbour to Trebius Valens.

According to Della Corte, found to the right of the doorway was the graffito –
