Wall painting of The
Breadseller or The Distribution of Bread or The Baker’s shop.
Now in
According to Della Corte, the vicolo was named because
this painting was thought to be of a breadseller, but according to Fiorelli and
De Petra, the painting showed a magistrate distributing bread to the people.
Della Corte thought this house should therefore be attributed to an anonymous
magistrate.
