VII.4.47 Shop. Linked to VII.4.45 and VII.4.46.

Excavated 1834. (Strada della Fortuna 15).

 

VII.4.47 Pompeii. December 2005. Entrance doorway on Via della Fortuna, looking south. Found in July 1833 on the pilaster between VII.4.46 and 47, on the left, was the graffito –

N(umerium)  Hersennium
C(aium) Calventium
II vir(os)  i(ure)  d(icundo)  o(ro)  v(os)  f(aciatis)     [CIL IV 292]
