VIII.7.5 Pompeii. Workshop. Linked to VIII.7.6.

Excavated 1764, 1873, 1906 and 2005 to 2010.

 

The Pompeii Archaeological Research Project: Porta Stabia (PARP:PS) has been excavating VIII.7.1 to 15 since 2005.

On the wall to the right of the doorway, between VIII.7.5 and VIII.7.6, the often quoted graffito was found: “We have wet the bed, host. I confess we have done wrong. If you want to know why, there was no chamber pot”. [CIL IV 4957] See VIII.7.6

On the wall to the right of the doorway, between VIII.7.5 and VIII.7.6, the often quoted graffito was found:
