Pompeii Porta Nocera Tomb 25OS. This tomb is behind tombs 21OS and 23OS.

There were no finds to enable the tomb to be named. May 2006.

The tomb originally had painted cherubs, birds and garlands on the front.

A plaque on the tomb had the inscription

CASTRICIA G(aiae) LIB(ertae)

PRISCAE VIXIT ANNIS

XXV HIC SITA EST.

SAP inventory number 21003.

Inside at the centre of the back wall was a columella with the inscription

CASTRICIA G(aiae)

L(iberta) PRISCA

VIX(it) ANN(is) XXV H(ic) S(ita) E(st).
