baths palaestra is on right.
According to Boyce, on the east wall (left), was a painted
single serpent coiling towards an altar with offerings.
He described it as being above the small arched opening
that passed the conduit that supplied water for the labrum of the women’s
caldarium.
This would be somewhere in the vicinity of the large white
patch on the wall.
